Weapons of the Far Future - Trench Warfare Multi Cal. Carbine

Another weapon from the Far Future!
A compact slugger from the muddy trenches of the wars in the Far Future. I wanted to make a weapon that would reflect the cutdown rifles and weapons of the trenches of the first World War but have a sci-fi twist on top. I also had the idea that the weapon would be multi cal. to be able to use whatever ammo was available since supply lines in trenches are notoriously poor (even in the Far Future). Each one of these blasters is a look into the sci-fi world that they come from and work as thought experiments for what things would look like and how they'd work (and also making things that look cool, too).
Another one down and onto the next one.
